Dear WhatsAppers, here we are, talking again about our favourite instant messaging app. During the last few months the popular Facebook-owned app has been under scrutiny more than ever for several reasons.
For example, some unexplained issues have left many users unable to use WhatsApp in many countries (especially in Europe) a few weeks ago. Or the sharing data plan with Facebook, which is encountering the hostility of many governments and that is costing to both WhatsApp and Facebook a lot of money. But despite these problems, WhatsApp is still the most popular instant messaging app all over the world, with over 1.2 billion monthly active users.
But today we prefer to talk to you about the latest update that WhatsApp developers have just released for Android devices. This new 2.17.213 Beta version of WhatsApp for Android is already available on the Google Play Store, so you can easily download and install it on your Android device.
What changes? To be honest not much, since this new Beta version mainly brings bug fixes and performance improvements. The size of the installation file has been slightly increased and is now 35.05MB. Thanks to the previous version of the app, users can now enjoy the Pin feature, that allows you to pin up to three chats. And this latest 2.17.213 Beta also add minor but precious improvements. We are talking about the ability to look into your photos while you are opening the phone camera.
Well, that said, now let’s see how to install this latest 2.17.213 Beta version of WhatsApp on your Android devices. First of all (obviously) you have to open the browser on your smartphone and go to the Google Play Store. Once you are there, open the Google Play Store App and search for WhatsApp 2.17.213 BETA. Now you can tap “INSTALL” to start the installation process. At this point it is crucial that you use your mobile phone number to get verified and log into your WhatsApp account. That’s it, now you have installed the latest WhatsApp update.
